Jarod Neece is a Senior Programmer at Tribeca Enterprises in New York City. He is a creative and analytical professional with an extensive career in film programming and curation, event production, marketing, and film distribution.

Previously, he was Chief Creative Officer for CURIA, a film streaming platform focusing on seasonally curated independent film collections. He is also a former Partner, Senior Programmer, and Event Producer for the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, TX. For 20 years he helped guide the strategic direction and provided team leadership and was one of the festival’s Senior Film Programmers with an emphasis on Feature Film and Genre Programming. He has been a juror or panelist at a number of events, including Cannes, Sundance, the B3 Biennale, and TIFF. He is on the advisory board of the Overlook Festival

He is also the co-founder and editor of the popular Austin food blog, Taco Journalism, and co-author of best-selling books, Austin Breakfast Tacos: The Story of the Most Important Taco of the Day and The Tacos of Texas. He is also the co-host & co-producer of the PBS & ITVS documentary series, The Tacos of Texas and United Tacos of America on Univision’s El Rey Network.
